- On your departure day, the room is available until 11:00 a.m. On the day of arrival, rooms are generally ready from 3:00 p.m. and are reserved for you until 4:00 p.m. If you expect to arrive later, please inform us in advance.
- Your reservation becomes binding only after you have received a written confirmation from the Helm Hotel (by email, fax or post) and after a deposit of approx. 20% of the total stay per room has been paid.
- The deposit is considered a security deposit and is non-refundable in case of cancellation. However, if you cancel up to 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be credited toward a future stay within one year (of equal value). In some cases, a refund is also possible.

Please note that bank charges cannot be covered by us.
- No, it is unfortunately not possible to grant a price reduction for meals not consumed at the hotel.
There is no right of withdrawal according to consumer protection law. The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Up to 30 days before arrival:
The deposit is credited for one year (for an equivalent stay) or can be refunded. - From 30 days before arrival:
80% of the total booking value will be charged. - Late arrival or early departure:
The full booking amount will be charged.

- Yes, we strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. Upon request, we are happy to arrange the insurance for you and take care of all formalities.
The insurance covers unexpected events such as:
- unexpectedly occurring serious illness, serious physical injury caused by an accident, adverse reactions to a vaccination or death;
- loosening of implanted joints;
- unexpectedly occurring serious illness, serious physical injury caused by an accident or death (including suicide) of a family member, making your presence absolutely necessary;
- pregnancy, if the pregnancy is determined after booking the journey, or severe pregnancy complications up to the 35th week of pregnancy inclusive;
- serious damage to your property at the place of residence as a result of acts of God (e.g. flood, storm), fire, burst water pipes or criminal act of a third party, making your presence absolutely necessary;
- loss of job without fault, as a result of notice of termination issued by the employer;
- call-up to basic military service or alternative civilian service;
- submission of an action for divorce to the competent court or, in the case of registered life partnerships, the submission of a petition for dissolution before the trip to be taken jointly by the married couple/civil partners;
- dissolution of the relationship of two partners living together (who have had the same registered address for at least 6 months) by the giving up of the joint residence immediately before the trip to be undertaken jointly by the partners concerned;
- failure to pass the school-leaving certificate examination, or a similar final examination for a course of school education lasting at least 3 years;
- receipt of an unexpected judicial summons.
- Family members shall be the spouse (or registered life partner or live-in partner in a joint household), the children (stepchildren, children-in-law, grandchildren, foster children), the parents (step parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, foster parents), the siblings and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the insured person; in the case of registered life partner or live-in partner in a joint household also their children, parents and siblings.
- You can settle your hotel bill in cash, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or debit/EC card. Cash payment is preferred.
- Yes. According to Italian law (Decree No. 201/2011), cash payments over €1,999.99 are not permitted. Accepted alternatives are debit card, credit card, non-transferable cheque or bank transfer.
- Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific floor, location or room number, even within the same room category.

Free mobility during your holiday
Thanks to the Mobilcard, which we provide free of charge upon your arrival and is valid for your entire stay, you can reach any destination in South Tyrol by train and local buses at no extra cost (bus stop directly in front of the hotel and the train station just 300 meters away).
